  Booked 3 days in advance by phone, but the booking was not there when we turned up. They tried to make up for it by giving us a glass of wine and nibbles while we waited for a table.

  Went with my friend for the first time last night for dinner and we had the best meal. From the rosemary n garlic focaccia to the prawn n chorizo linguine where the prawns were big, fresh n firm. In other words, just right! Price was what I would expect from any good quality restaurant. Would definitely go again!

  Good food and very prompt service. Recommend the chicken bosciaola. Can get noisy if a couple of groups are dining.

  Myself and the wife love this place and always come back when we travel up from Sydney to the Hunter, with tonight being our fourth visit. The food is great. The service is friendly and efficient. Last time we were here we were marooned due to a mess up by the local taxi company and the owner's son was more than willing to give us a lift back to our hotel. Sophia is also great and is a credit to the restaurant and the team. Thanks guys, will be back again next time we are in Hunter!
