Generous serving sizes and reasonable pricing on food. Some reasonable wines and some not so good. Excellent selection of craft beers from some local brewers and some further afield

The best restaurant I have been to in forever. Atmosphere awesome. Acoustics great. You can hear the other people at your table. Staff were lovely. Steak PERFECT! Flavours AMAZING.

Excellent food and great service. The drinks are quite pricey but that's pretty typical of the hunter valley so no marks off for that.

Poorhouse steak and lamb were delicious, also the mushrooms topper. Nice garlic bread, environment and service. A must to visit in the Hunter Valley!!

A really lovely place with a super atmosphere. We had a fabulous evening here and could not find a negative thing to say. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and our meals were cooked to near perfection. We WILL come back again.

Really friendly staff. Delicious food- highly recommend deep dish beef pie! Lovely atmosphere. Free shuttle bus from hotel an excellent bonus. Local wine selection is plentiful. Loved it!
